I always face an issue of being short of space while creating dashboards in Power BI as I keep looking at doing things differently and exploring other visuals.
I hope I am not alone. Let me know if you are like me :)
So, here is a simple trick that will help you save some space.
That's like us doing multi-tasking. One human, tons of tasks with urgent deadlines :)
The trick is to use our famous slicer which is already available in BI. No need to add from the marketplace.
Keep adding fields to it to create a drill down like feature. The slicer will group everything under the first field and will display a collapse or expand icon.
Though you can add multiple fields, I recommend to not adding more than two as it can get the user confused.
Leave a comment in the video and let me know what you think about this and what ways are you using to use space in BI in a more creative way.
Please don't say that you are increasing the size of the page. Yes, you can do that but remember a dashboard should have only 3-4 visuals.
